Mum's journey
changed everything
I'm Tanya — and, like you perhaps, a daughter. My mum is living with dementia, and I've watched her world get smaller, one small task at a time.
Carers come in and handle the basics of personal care. They're kind, and they're quick — because they have to be. But when the door closes behind them, so much is still waiting.
The shopping. The bills piling up on the side. The washing. Getting to appointments. Her animals, who matter to her as much as anyone. And the thing nobody has time for at all — company.
I fill those gaps myself, around work and family. So I know exactly how it feels: the love, and the guilt that you're still not doing enough.
So I decided to become the help I wish had been there.
Someone who's walked this road herself
I've spent years supporting people — but it's caring for my own mum that has taught me what really matters.
That the small things are never small. That being listened to is worth as much as being helped. And that nobody should ever feel like a burden in their own home.
I'm not an agency — it's just me. Which means you'll always know exactly who's coming through your door.
What that means for you
You get peace of mind — they get the time they deserve.
"Mum deserves to stay in control of her own life, and to feel independent in her own home. That's what I want for everyone I help."
